Silkq Outdoes Himself In New EP "From Here & After" [PREMIERE]

Earlier this week, we brought you a new track from Calgary producer Harrison Neef, better know as Silkq in the PNW.

Silkq's music is an accurate representation of his name. His laid back and shimmery instrumentation is contrasted by his appreciation for abrasive percussion. His sound is a collective range of his many musical influences ranging from metal, to RnB.

In his more recent EP, "From Here & After" Silkq combines unique percussion dynamics with very calming and soothing melodies and vocal samples. The combination of these yield a sound that makes you both feel in comfort and intimacy. It wasn't easy picking our favorite tracks, but an office survey showed "Trust Yourself" and "Cry Together Pt. 1" are our must-listen. But that being said, the whole EP holds together really well as a cohesive body of work. So sit back, tune in and relax.

Silkq has been in our radar since our early days as a blog, and we are proud to see where he has taken his sound in the past year. You sure may expect an interview with this talented producer in the future!
